About the Group

This small but very friendly group is due to restart at the end of April 2022.  We meet once a month on the last Thursday of the month between April and September with the occasional Christmas meeting.  A couple of our members are experienced Flower Arrangers who demonstrate a particular arrangement and then we attempt to recreate the style with their help and expertise. They advise us beforehand what flowers would be most suitable, as well as the type of container to bring along and the best foliage to add to the arrangement.

We meet between 10am and 12noon in the foyer of the Catholic Church in Willowbrook and usually contribute £5 each for the demonstrators’ flowers and hall hire.  We are a relatively small group because we need space to spread out our flowers whilst doing an arrangement.  However we now have a reduced number of members due to illness, moving away etc. so have space for new people to join the  group.
